A good color match should disappear into the vehicle.
We prepare the surface, match the color, blend adjacent panels, and check the finish from more than one angle. The goal is simple: a clean repair that belongs on the vehicle, not a patch that calls attention to itself.

Color matching limitations
The paint code on the door jamb describes the vehicle as it left the factory, sometimes a decade ago. Since then sun, washing and age have moved it, and factory batches and panel materials vary as well, so two vehicles with the same code can need visibly different mixes. On metallics and pearls, the way the flake sits changes the color depending on the angle you view it from. We custom-tint the formula to the current state of your vehicle, then spray out and check a test card against your actual panel before any paint reaches the vehicle.
Surface preparation and blending
Most paint failures are preparation failures. Adhesion depends on what happens under the color, so the substrate is cleaned, corrected and primed properly before anything else, and the surface is checked by hand as well as by eye. Blending then carries the new color out into the neighboring panels so the transition falls in the middle of a panel where the eye cannot find it, instead of stopping at a hard line on a body seam, and clearcoat goes over the whole panel for protection and gloss. Skipping the blend is the single most common reason a repair is visible in daylight two years later.
Will the paint match?
Yes. We use advanced color-matching technology, custom tinting, and blending techniques to ensure the refinished area matches the existing vehicle color and metallic orientation. Our painters are highly trained in color theory to match the color as it is today. We account for sun fading, factory variations, and the specific material of the panel to ensure the final result is virtually indistinguishable from the factory finish.
How long does the new paint need to cure?
Our controlled baking environment accelerates the curing process, meaning the paint is dry and ready for normal driving upon delivery. However, we recommend avoiding commercial car washes and heavy waxing for the first 30 days to allow the finish to fully outgas. We will provide detailed care instructions upon delivery. Taking these simple precautions ensures your new finish remains durable and glossy for years to come.
Do you blend the paint into adjacent panels?
Yes. Because paint colors fade and alter over time, simply painting a single panel with the factory code often results in a visible mismatch. Blending the new color into the adjacent, undamaged panels tricks the eye and creates a seamless, invisible transition. This is an industry-standard best practice. Our technicians carefully feather the color out, applying clearcoat over the entire blended area for uniform protection and shine.
What kind of warranty comes with the paint work?
Paint and refinish work is covered by our written workmanship warranty for one year from the date of delivery, against peeling, blistering and wrinkling. Damage that happens after delivery, such as stone chips, scratches or environmental damage, is not covered. The full terms and exclusions are on the warranty page, and if something does not look right with the finish, contact the shop to schedule a warranty inspection.
