BEFORE APPROVING // REVIEW

READ THE ESTIMATE AND AUTHORIZATION.

Review the work described and ask questions before authorizing a repair.

Discuss the repair scope and authorization directly with the shop owner. Contact the owner about any changes to the work or the estimate.

Full payment is required before the vehicle is picked up. Accepted methods include insurance checks, joint-payee checks, cards, bank payments and certified funds. The customer pays the deductible at pickup.

A deposit or prepayment is generally not required. For a large non-insurance job, such as a restoration, the shop and customer agree on any deposit or prepayment arrangement for that job.

If the scope, parts or price needs clarification, speak with the shop.

Any parts-return or restocking charges are billed to the customer. Discuss parts already ordered for your vehicle with the shop owner before changing the repair plan.

Ask your insurance agent about coverage, deductibles, rental benefits, towing benefits and any limits in your policy. The shop does not determine your insurance coverage.
